Vey Laplace - Conquering Intimidation

Vey was interested in karate from a very young age, but she thought that the idea of training and competing with fighters was simply too intimidating for a young girl. It took her a long time to finally be confident enough to join a martial arts school. In fact, it was only after she took the bar exam that she found she could do such a thing. “Taking and passing the bar exam was the hardest thing I had done up to that point in my life. When I found out I passed, I realized that other things I considered to be unachievable actually were possible.
